An Online International Webinar was organized on the topic â€œEmerging Trend in Marketing and Implication for Marketerâ€ under the inchargeship Prof. Manjit Kaur and Dr. Sachin, Department of Commerce, in association with IQAC and in collaboration with Bank of Maharasthra, Kabir Textile, and Malhotra Electronics. The resource person Dr. Priyanka Singh, University of Memphis, Tenancy , USA shared her valuable views on this topic.
Yoga Day celebration
The NSS department and department of Physical Education, in association with IQAC, organized a webinar on â€œYoga and Healthâ€ on the eve of International Yoga Day on 21 June . In the beginning of the webinar Prof. Manpreet Kaur and Prof. Harjyot Kaur introduced the spokespersons and extended a warm welcome to them. Dr. Shivani Sharma, Associate Professor and Chairperson, Department of Philosophy, Panjab University, Chandigarh and Dr. Surbhi Sood, Yoga expert participated in this webinar as spokespersons. Both of them shared their valuable views about the Yoga Mudras and the importance of Yoga in Indian Philosophy. Principal Dr. Nand Kishore appreciated the efforts of the organizing team to organize this fruitful session and congratulated the team for the grand success of the same.

National Webinar on "Vedic Maths and Career Orientation"
National webinar on Vedic Maths and Career orientation was organised by department of Computer applications in association with Infomaths, Chandigarh on 12th June 2021. Mr. Sudhir Grover demonstrated shortcut tricks to solve tedious mathematical sums . Mrs. Aparna from Infomaths guided students about various streams after Graduation and told them about career oppurtunities available after BCA.
"World Enviroment Day" celebration
World Environment day was celebrated in campus with full enthusiasm by Red Ribbon club and NSS Department of the College . Principal Dr. Nand Kishor, Dr Gurcharan Singh, Dr. Kamaljit Kaur, Mr. Vipan Kumar, Mr. Harsish and other Faculy members planted various saplings in the college.

IQAC in association with SantDarbara Singh College of Education for Women Lopon, Moga and SD College Hoshiarpur conducted a seven day online National Workshop (15 May 2021 to 21 May 2021) on the topic of "NAAC: Revised Accreditation Framework - Issues and Challenges." Department of Psychology organized a national webinar on "Case History Taking"in collaboration with IQAC on 29th april. In this webinar, counselor Mr. Munish Singh, Drug De-Addiction Center, Sekha, Distt. Jalandhar, was the spokesperson. Distribution of Eco-friendly Bags and Sanitary pads
Red ribbon club, women cell and NSS Unit of College visited slum areas of the city and distributed sanitary pads, face masks and eco-friendly carry bags. They also made the women aware of personal hygeine as well as cleanliness of their surroundings.
COVID-19 Vaccination drive
NSS, Red Ribbon Club and NCC unit of the college hold an awareness rally and distributed pamphlets for COVID-19 Vaccination in the adopted village Phadma and neighborhood area. The people were told about the positive impact of vaccination.
COVID-19 Vaccination drive
The college in collaboration with Civil hospital, Hoshiarpur, successfully organized a vaccination drive at the college campus on 1/04/2021. 160 people of surrounding areas got first dose of vaccine.
Department of Computer Applications Organised an international webinar on the Topic "Analysing COVID data with R" on 18/03/2021. Dr. Bharatendra Rai from Umass Dartmouth , USA was keynote speaker. He explained various packages available in R to explore COVID data thoroughly .
Women Cell and NSS unit of the college organized a national seminar on the topic "Gender Equality and Women's Empowerment" on 31-March-2021. Dr. Jasveera Minhas ,Assocaite Professor from Govt college Hoshiarpur put forth her views on gender equality and emphasized the role of women in present sceneria.

NSS unit of the college organised a lecture on the eve of 125th Birth Anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chander Bose on 11 feb 2021. 35 faculty members attended this lecture.

Visit to Phadma, A village adopted by college
NSS, NCC and Red Ribbon unit of college visited phadma village and conducted different activities that included Road safety awareness rally, tree plantation drive and distribution of masks and eco-friendly bags.
Glass Painiting Workshop
Two days glass painting workshop was organised Ms. Gurleen Kaur of Fashion Designing Department. 30 students of various classes participated in the workshop and learnt various techniques to paint on glass.

IT Literacy Workshop 2020-21
Computer society organized IT Literacy workshop for support staff of college from 11/01/2021 to 28/01/2021. A total of 12 employees of the college learnt basics of computer such as Ms-Word, Windows interface, organizing their works in folders, shortcuts and Ms-paint etc. Internet basics such as surfing internet, creating new mailbox and basic of email such as composing mails, forwarding, replying etc. were told.
