The Department of Humanities and Arts, SD College is multidisciplinary in its
orientation and has expertise in various disciplines like: Computer Application,Economics, English, History,Political Science, Physical Education and Fashion Designing.
Its undergraduate programme includes highly innovative syllabi. The BA Programme in Development Studies is a multi-disciplinary
programme and was initiated in the year 1973 The programme is designed to provide an understanding of various perspectives of
development issues, through rigorous course works and guided research. The perspectives are drawn from different disciplines of
the Humanities.
