A one-day National Seminar on topic History, Culture and Literature of the Marginalised was organised by Department of Languages and Humanities on 7-03-2020.It was sponsored by ICSSR(North-Western Regional Centre,PU,Chd). A one day national seminar on Women Empowerment and adverse effects of Drug Addiction was held in SD college in collaboration with International Human Right Organisation. Director North India, IHRO Mr. Amandeep Mittal was chief guest of the occassion. Mehndi competition was organized by fashion designing department on the theme of Hariyawal Teej.This competition was held on 14th August 2019. The worthy guests of the competition were Honourable President Madam Mrs. Hema Sharma Ji and Sh.shri Gopal Ji. The Honourable judges of the competition were Prof. Monika and Prof. Nisha Arora. The students from different streams of the college participated in this competition.
